This was an outstanding spirit, quite unlike Don Pancho 18, Appleton Estate 21, and similar rums. On the nose, I detected notes of evergreen and mint, followed by grass. The palate and finish were dry, with additional mint, grass, floral notes, and a touch of spice. The finish was particularly distinctive to me, perhaps due to its dryness compared to other premium rums I'd sampled. This was not a drawback; rather, it was quite surprising and welcome.

The theme here is very straightforward: tropical. You get melon, banana, and mango – all yellow and sweet things, although this is still a rather dry liquid. There are leather notes mixed with orange and clementine. On the finish, you find the grassy notes characteristic of rhum agricole along with some ginger.
Prominent sugar cane on the nose. The flavor profile is refined, but very dry. It drinks somewhat like a Cognac, but with more herbal notes. I'm appreciating the celery-like finish. Aside from the aroma, it shares few characteristics with its "Rum" relatives. 3.95.
A rum reminiscent of cognac, with hints of grass, herbs, floral notes, chocolate, pepper, and caramelized brown sugar.
Yes. Delicious Rhum. It's herbal and has some spice, but it's smooth.
Sweet, velvety, and delicious.
