Nose: Brown sugar, rye bread, pepper, maple. A rich, dense, and surprising aroma. Palate: Lacking substance, a letdown after the nose, and unexpectedly mild for a 2-year-old spirit. It has some rye spice but little sweetness. Intriguing, but ultimately forgettable. With a few more years, it could be quite good, I suspect.
