This is a solid cask strength bourbon overall, featuring spiciness from the high rye content, along with notes of cherry, vanilla, toffee, and nuttiness. It aligns with a darker bourbon profile. The heat is apparent, and the mouthfeel isn't as smooth, coating, or oily as I prefer. The finish is adequate but not exceptionally long. Nevertheless, it provides enough of the qualities I appreciate in a bourbon to maintain interest and encourage regular enjoyment.

It's a caramel explosion! Truly. Imagine opening a packet of microwave caramel popcorn before putting it in the bag and smelling that caramel – that's what this bourbon tastes like. Damn. So good.
Nose: understated aroma, hints of marshmallow. Palate: candied peppermint, nutmeg, cinnamon. It tingles the tongue with an explosion of baking spices and a sweet finish!
Nose: banana, oak Palate: powerful, enduring taste with hints of baking spice, apple, and tannins Finish:
