About this bottle
The Dream Cask is a limited, single cask, single pot still release that has been aged for a total of 32 years, initiating a planned series of whiskeys. The aging process began in 1985 in refill American oak ex-bourbon barrels. In 2011, the whiskey was transferred to a first-fill Spanish oak oloroso sherry butt. Master blender Billy Leighton hand-selected this whiskey for the brand's 2017 World Whisky Day events, which included a tasting of the cask via Facebook LIVE. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV, non-chillfiltered, and presented in 500ml bottles. This whiskey became accessible through the brand's exclusive online members' club, The Birdhouse, starting on World Whisky Day 2018 (May 19).
