Rusty Ingram 3.3

This toasted barrel from Red Line leads with caramel. It has a syrupy texture that coats the mouth, and the spice remains for an extended period. Primarily, caramel and honey notes dominate, with the 115 proof heat consistently noticeable but not overly intense. For me, the finish was entirely spice, lingering on the palate for quite some time.

Quincy Gold 4.0

Caramel and honey on the nose and tongue. Concludes with a hint of pepper on the tip of the tongue. A very easy-drinking spirit at full strength, it's hard to believe it's 111.5 proof. I'm uncertain if it justifies the $79 cost, but it's still a very good serving.

Ray Rees 4.0

Caramel notes in the aroma and initial taste. The finish has a slight peppery spice from the toasted barrel.

Jami Starkey 4.3

Spicy at the forefront. A woody, sweet finish. You can detect a hint of orange. Surprisingly smooth served over ice.

Rosetta Duvall 4.5

Remarkably smooth for its proof and possesses an excellent flavor profile.

Adriel Sharp 3.8

Pleasant toasted flavor.
