The third offering in the Rabbit Hole Founder’s Collection series, Raceking, features a mash bill of 70% corn, 13% rye, 10% malted rye, 4% chocolate malted wheat, and 3% chocolate malted barley. German chocolate wheat and UK chocolate barley, processed through proprietary malting techniques, impart a chocolate essence. Consistent with prior Founder’s Collection releases, Raceking is bottled at cask strength, 109.2 proof/54.6% ABV. A limited run of 1,365 sequentially-numbered bottles was released in September 2021.

My initial experience with this brand, prompted by reading about it, led me to seek it out. A potent chocolate aroma, with chocolatey spice on the palate and a uniquely spicy finish. It possesses a character somewhat like Rye.
