Glasgow Distillery Company, the first to open in the port city in over a century, offers its Prometheus range. Before distilling its own whisky, the company acquired single malt casks from an unnamed Speyside distillery. Prometheus 26 Year, launched in 2015, is the debut release in this range, bottled at 47% ABV, honoring the Greek titan who gifted fire to humanity.

Good whisky, well balanced, smooth and complex. Nose: Sherry notes, sweet, oak spiciness Palate: Rich, mouthwatering, figs, raisins, honey, nuts Finish: smooth, warming, chocolate, orange. Couldn't find smoke. Probably Macallan.... Sample from Whisky Europa.
