Proclamation Irish Whiskey

The aroma is buttery and creamy, evoking steel-cut oatmeal with a spoonful of salted butter. Could this be a breakfast whiskey? In the glass, notes of toasted pecan, graham cracker, and an unusual hint of pineapple combine, while a subtle sherry influence imparts a sweet character to the taste. The experience concludes with a medium-long finish that fades into a dry, slightly tannic sensation. Overall, this is a skillfully crafted whiskey that competes well with established brands from Ireland.

Very little taste, dominated by alcohol that sticks around way too much. Compared to others like Quiet Man or Writer's Tears, it's just not engaging.

Aroma: Slightly earthy and medicinal, otherwise not much present. Palate: Smooth and buttery with hints of agave. Finishes smooth and oaky. Nothing remarkable.

Aged in bourbon barrels and combined with a small amount of sherry-finished malt to impart a mellow, toasted finish.

Creamy and toasty. Vanilla, oak, caramel notes. Incredibly smooth, almost dangerously so. Definitely a sipper.

The texture is pleasing and substantial.
