This is the absolute best serving I've had this year, without a doubt. Lots of butterscotch on the nose at first, which then moves into orange and chocolate (think of those Christmas chocolate oranges), and then some vanilla. The palate has a lot of vanilla and cream, with some oak spice in the mid-palate, and then a wonderful warmth as it goes down with almost no burn. Overall, it's like a famous actress dressed in silk and massaging you all over.

Kingston Sands 4.5

Amazing. The aroma, taste, and finish are all very intricate. Some orange/citrus on the nose and palate. The spices are nicely balanced by sweet elements. I don't perceive this as a "spicy" bourbon. The mouthfeel isn't heavy but is definitely somewhat creamy. Delightful. It will likely mellow further with time.

Graham Dwyer 4.8

Very warming. The apple flavor is prominent. It has heat, but finishes with a pleasant cinnamon spice. The aroma is powerful, yet balanced with flavor. It's sweet and intense; notes of oats and vanilla are detectable. So much is happening here. It's as intricate as it is delightful.

Nose: candied burnt sugar, toasted marshmallow, vanilla bean, cherry Body: somewhat light Palate: traditional burnt sugar, vanilla, hints of cherry. A touch of rye spice. Finish: a decent duration for how easily it goes down. A pleasant, subtle smoky sugar note remains. Note: a measure from a friend.

Salvador Narvaez 4.3

Rich aroma of cherry and vanilla, followed by citrus – a very complex nose. Taste presents creamy vanilla, then caramel and toffee. Tropical fruit and oak emerge at the end. You notice the oak, but it's subtle. The finish is exceptionally long.

Kristina Salvador 4.5

Remarkable. Truly remarkable. I didn't expect much, but this exceeded all expectations. Maple, molasses, autumn spices, and a pleasant, light smoky finish. I'm still surprised by this one. A definite must-try.
