About this bottle
The first bottling from Diageo for the Untold Stories line originates from Port Ellen, a distillery that ceased operations in 1983. This distillery bottling, named "The Spirit Safe," underwent maturation in both ex-bourbon and ex-refill European oak sherry casks. Port Ellen is slated to resume operations in 2021. Production was limited to 1500 bottles, with a global release anticipated in April 2019.
