Port Ellen by Connoisseurs Choice

The initial taste a few weeks back was acceptable but not outstanding, but it's quite different now. On the nose, immediately the distinctive Port Ellen aroma, somewhat dark and smoky fruit, wood, dried apricots, cigar remnants, aged dusty books. For the first time, a spirit with an identical nose and palate, it's smooth and not harsh, slightly sweet. Incredible, very enjoyable.
