Unusual drams, the different or even strange, are my preference. The aroma of this single grain is rather peculiar, to say the least; I detect effervescent tablets, raspberry powder, and bee sting cake. Notes of baking spices, cereals, and a faint wood smoke emerge. Sweet and peppery upon entry, the palate evolves with green walnuts, blueberries, and charred oak. It becomes aromatic, herbal, and nearly peaty. Mild citrus fruits, floral vanilla, and a hint of coffee remain in the grassy finish.
