About this bottle
Port Charlotte 18 Year, first offered in 2024, is an annual limited release where the heavily peated whisky's cask maturation varies yearly. The 2026 iteration was aged in first-fill bourbon, ex-virgin oak, and second-fill sherry casks. Part of the sherry-matured spirit was moved to first-fill Rhône red wine casks for five years, followed by a two-year finish in second-fill bourbon casks. The remaining portion matured in refill sherry and wine casks before all components were unified. Production was capped at 8,000 bottles. It will be available from January 2026.
