An excellent illustration of how aging can soften the flavors. The palate begins with a pleasant note of raisins and fruit, then transitions to medium smoke, but nowhere near as harsh as most Islay whiskies, allowing the sweet notes to linger. Tasted at the Dornoch Whisky Festival.
