Johnathan Lombardi 3.0

An intense Old Tom gin from Sunderland! Inspired by the sweet gin style popular in the 1800s, it features hibiscus and rose petals in its botanicals, contributing to its sweet taste. It starts aromatically with juniper and a hint of rose; a rich middle adds notes of cracked black pepper and sugared rose petals; leading to a long, peppery finish. January 2018

Rudolph Gomes 2.5

Distinctive flavors, an uncommon Old Tom, followed the suggested serving and it was effective. I will try other Old Tom gins for comparison. Somewhat like Marmite, this expression.

Wayne Seay 2.5

Not very sweet, with a bit of bitterness. The oak cask gives it an amber color and spicy notes. It's a bit inconsistent.
