Nose: Deep and intense. Dark cherries, robust oak, sherry, red grape skins, vanilla, caramel, and candied orange segments. Taste: Also deep, but quite smooth and sophisticated, yet with a hidden strength, featuring nuts, sherry, chocolate, dark cherries, and some warm spices. Finish: Dark cherries, spicy, with a lingering warmth, subtle hints of chocolate and orange. I must acquire another bottle!
