The aroma begins with an eruption of flowery rye spice, layered with vanilla cake, making for a truly remarkable combination. Notes of cooked brown sugar and alcohol emerge next, alongside charred oak and leather. The taste delivers a generous amount of flowery rye spice that subtly touches the sides of your mouth. Milder notes of vanilla and brown sugar appear faintly in the background, but mostly, this remains rye-forward. It's quite enjoyable, offering a fantastic rye punch with just enough subtle complexity to balance it out. The finish is moderately long and piquant, with rye spice that lingers as long as desired. This is outstanding.
