Considering it's a bourbon finished in wine casks, I'm impressed! It's smooth, spicy, and intricate. I appreciate the subtle rye spice, which mellows throughout the drinking experience. Complex notes emerge, with vanilla and faint wine-aging undertones contributing to a smoothness that elevates this high-proof spirit beyond typical expectations. Overall, a 9/10. While other wine cask finishes are less expensive, this one is very good and justifies its price.
