Pinhook Bourbon's Lot Release #2 honors Bourbonize, a currently competing racehorse owned by Bourbon Lane Stables in Versailles, Kentucky. This straight bourbon whiskey features a mash bill consisting of 75% corn, 20.5% rye, and 4.5% malted barley. A total of 2,180 bottles of this high-rye bourbon were made available.

Pinhook’s Fall 2018 “Bourbon Country” bourbon release (their #8 overall). 47.75% abv. Aged at least 3 years. Very spicy cinnamon and white pepper. A little pear on the back end after your palate adjusts to the initial impact. 3.78.
I'm actually reviewing Release 7. I've waited 9 months for it to be added. Seven is a great bourbon!
Not often seen, I imagine. Picked it up at Native. Excellent quality.
