Extremely sweet and intensely herbal, to the point of being unpleasant. Personally, I find the aroma very off-putting, though the taste is not as bad. There's a lingering note of stale laundry that just won't quit, and even if you can overlook that, all that remains is a saccharine void. If you truly, deeply enjoy sweet whisky, you might not despise this. But for me, it's likely the worst whisky I've ever encountered. I say this with regret, not bitterness, as this bottle was a gift. Steer clear of purchasing.
