Glass: Glencairn, rested for 15 minutes. Color: Medium-dark amber. Nose: Cocoa, marshmallow, and graham cracker. Palate: Cinnamon, clove, and oak. Finish: Medium heat with medium length. Splash: The oak becomes much more prominent. Overall: 8/10 - This may develop over time, but it's starting well. The distinct s'mores notes on the nose don't carry through to the palate, but part of me hopes they will eventually. For now, considering the price and proof, it's above average but not the most outstanding whiskey in Penelope's collection.

The aroma offers a touch of spice and vanilla, leading into intensely sweet caramel notes and a whisper of toasted marshmallow. The finish presents some oak influence and a persistent rye spice.
An excellent pour, especially with a large ice cube. Mild spice and graham crackers initially, followed by mellow caramel. The finish is pleasant and not overly hot.
Really enjoyable layers of flavor – spice, caramel, citrus, and other fruits. The sweetness nicely balances the rye spice.
Quite good. The flavor is good but not exceptional. No harshness. My only critique is that the finish is rather short.
