CHAR - 2, TOAST - Heavy NEAT NOSE - Light Brown Sugar, Honey, and Caramel PALATE - Velvety mouthfeel with sweet, sweet honey FINISH - Short, but very pleasant with no burn or spice WOULD BUY AGAIN?? This is good, but for my next bottle I'd prefer to try a cask strength or a store selection. I've noticed Cask Strengths with a 110 proof and a Total Wine Pick at 115 proof. I'm sure then, this nicely toasted bourbon would be closer to 4, maybe 4+ stars.

Milo Higgins 3.5

The aroma is varied, featuring caramel, vanilla, marshmallow, and spice. The palate is lacking; it's not bad, but as another reviewer noted, the price doesn't align. At $20 less, it would be an easy purchase. It's mostly charred oak on the palate, with lingering vanilla and a red fruit note, plus maple. A significant positive is its drinkability; it might be one of the most approachable 100 proof options available. I haven't been overly impressed with this brand previously, but this expression redeemed it somewhat.

Ted Coley 1.8

Tastes like pure disappointment. It's young, which always reminds me of a freshly cut lawn. The toastiness helps hide that flavor, but not effectively. I regret the purchase and wish I had tried it first to save $62. If you're considering it, pass.

Amira South 3.5

It's not bad. However, compared to my preferred choice, this one offers a different experience. It definitely has more smoke/char, and I feel the overall flavor fades quickly.

Conrad Butler 3.5

Very smooth, light burn that increases at the end. But crazy how smooth it starts. Wish there were more flavors present, but definitely has the char. Not bad, but didn't blow me away

Kourtney Swenson 3.8

Smells like Woodford Double Oaked, with vanilla prominent on the initial taste. Overall, it's sweet and smooth. A decent pour, but I question the price point.
