Penelope Toasted Barrel Strength Bourbon Batch 22-003

Woody caramel and brown sugar aroma with a touch of spiced apple. Tastes like apple pie with molasses and baking spices, along with the effect of char notes. It evokes thoughts of premium winter bourbons like Old F 1920 and certain Elijah Craig barrel proof expressions. This is likely my favorite Penelope expression to date.

Really good. The proof is ideal. Notes of butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, fruit, and some spice on the finish.
