Tasted blind, rated 3.5. It leads with intense vanilla sweetness that vanishes fast, giving way to hints of spice and an almost earthy flavor. The finish lacks much of a kick. It begins with sweetness (like brown sugar) but fades swiftly, revealing spice and dried fruit with a decidedly earthy character. It’s dry and finishes without much punch. When noticed, it's clear this has been matured in a sherry cask.
