Very sweet and light but initially quite harsh. A slightly thicker sweetness, like maple syrup. I truly enjoy this, but it's definitely a bit aggressive. Too hot for its proof.
What a fantastic whiskey. Starts with nice sweet vanilla forward notes, and then goes heavy on that maple syrup, but not in a syrupy way, but in flavor. So much fun!
Smell: vanilla, sweet maple syrup (a fantastic dessert, like bourbon) Flavor: sugary, maple syrup, honey, sugarcane, and vanilla
A good harmony of maple and bourbon, balanced by the rum's spice, but it's almost excessively sweet.
A very intriguing finish. Not as sweet as another one, but still quite enjoyable and it goes down very smoothly.
