A truly one-of-a-kind dram. It begins with a sharp, metallic, medicinal sensation on the palate, reminiscent of Japanese spirits like Yamazaki 12. The main taste is of scorched caramel, but it's a pleasant rendition. As it settles, a refined, woody sweetness emerges, justifying the cost. Nicely executed.

This bottling from Penelope is outstanding! It's like Knob Creek 18/21 amplified. Nose: Toasted vanilla bean, caramel, dark fruits Palate: Intense Oak, honeycomb, and baking spices Finish: A lingering, warm embrace from Kentucky MSRP: $199 - Definitely purchase it!!
