Penelope Architect Series Private Build

This bourbon has a sweet aroma, like syrup from a soda. It's a spicy and delicious drink. Despite being 110 proof, it's quite smooth. The oak notes and sweetness are enjoyable. This is excellent whiskey. My bottle was a store selection for Bourbon Street.

#23-11112 Intense Staves. Aromas of charred fruits and butter. Viscous texture. Flavors of pound cake, muddled red fruit, charred oak, and baker's chocolate. Moderate oak finish.

I've searched for this for a long time, and I'm uncertain if this is the one. It has a more intense heat and spice than I recalled, yet it remains sweet and enjoyable.

Batch 3461. It has a bit of a wheated bourbon character.

58% alcohol by volume, French oak wood pieces.
