Second pour from the bottle, enjoyed neat in a Glencairn. The nose presents a lot of cinnamon with hints of vanilla and citrus. The palate offers more cinnamon and some cherry soda. It's sweet and spicy, though the initial spiciness masks a slight harshness at the back of my throat (the only minor issue with the Architect). The syrupy cherry flavors combine with a touch of oak for a long finish. I'm a big admirer of French oak finished whiskies, and this one fully satisfies. It's rich, flavorful, sweet, spicy, and even a little savory.
