Second pour from this bottle. The aroma is fruity with some toastiness present. It's very forward with toast on the initial taste, but then the toast becomes more subtle, allowing the fruitiness from the aroma to come through. After a bit, the underlying bourbon caramel flavor returns. It might open up more with some water or an ice cube. By the time the glass is empty, the toasted notes are barely detectable. The finish is short to medium in length, accompanied by stone fruitiness.

Sweeter at the start with a hint of caramel, followed by a spicier heat in the middle. Overall very oak-forward, with a slight toasting effect.
Very pleasing and delicious. Remarkably smooth considering the alcohol content.
