The new proprietor was generous enough to let me sample this. I'm convinced it contains BBQ sauce. Abundant brown sugar and a tanginess I've never encountered in a bourbon before. It might be a gimmick, but it's a remarkable experience.
It was quite enjoyable to sample. I'm uncertain if I'd spend the distillery's asking price for this bottle. However, this has been a very pleasing gift to consume.
Oak and smoke dominate, minimal heat, a sweet aftertaste that persists.
Vanilla accompanied by a burst of oak! Exceptional whiskey.
