Ryann Shafer 3.3

Upon first smelling, I detected strong vanilla notes with mild toasted pecans towards the end. It was a bit sharp initially but improved after resting for an additional ten minutes. It has a buttery mouthfeel that gives way to an intense vanilla flavor, followed by a creamy, almost banana-like finish. This is an enjoyable pour, differing from the typical bourbons that rely on heavy char and oak. For its price point, there are better options available, but it's a somewhat uncommon bottle, making it worth the cost this time.
