This one is challenging to pin down in terms of flavors and aromas. The scent... hmm... hogo, plum... ah, caramel! The first taste, remarkable! It's potent. The retro-hale carries a fruity cinnamon scent. Orange peel, cinnamon, and a hint of that funk. While it's a very pleasant spirit to sip neat (best after the initial glass), it performs excellently as a mixer. This is a rum capable of both roles effectively. Rating is based on neat sipping.
