About this bottle
The American independent Scotch whisky bottler, The Perfect Fifth, offers Oran blended Scotch whisky. Jim Murray, author of Jim Murray's Whisky Bible, established the Oran brand. Blend No. 2 combines equal volumes of single malt Scotch whisky and single grain Scotch whisky. While Blend No. 1 is matured solely in ex-bourbon barrels, this bottling includes a component aged in sherry casks. With a bottling strength of 50% ABV, production was limited to 465 bottles. Limited quantities will be offered at select New York, New Jersey, and California retailers, along with online sales via the brand's website starting in November 2023. (SRP $189)
