This has almost no aroma. However, the taste is quite herbal. It's somewhat reminiscent of E&J XO, with rum and brandy characteristics alongside an herbal base. The flavors don't integrate well. The balance is completely off. There's a distinct maple sweetness that clashes with anise, oregano, and some cherry. A strong bitter alcohol flavor is present, almost as if the creators were indifferent. It has a bit of spice, but not overwhelmingly so. There's a hint of an unpleasant off-brand cola taste. Sadly, this is a mess and I would avoid drinking it under any circumstances if possible. The bitter herbal notes make it taste more like a digestif, which is not what I want from a whiskey.

The nose has a hint of milk chocolate. Black pepper, oak, and char are present on the first taste. The finish is soft with a decent throat burn. The burn fades quickly, and the conclusion is good. Adding ice reduces the pepper flavor and brings out tannic and char notes in the finish.
Deep sweetness and oak on the nose Caramel with profound complexity. It does not taste like 116 proof at all. It tastes like a hundred. An interesting orange flavor emerges at the end. I really enjoy this.
Smooth, with a potent alcohol sensation initially. It evolves into oak, smoke, and mild caramel.
It's acceptable, but unremarkable. I won't repurchase it, if that's any indication.
Very smooth, begins powerfully and concludes smoothly. Lacks significant flavor. Smells of ethanol.
