About this bottle
One Eight Distilling, located in Washington D.C., derives its name from Article One, Section Eight of the U.S. Constitution, which permits a district to serve as the nation's capital. Co-founders Sandy Wood and Alex Laufer transitioned from other careers to join the burgeoning distilling industry. Whiskey No. 5 in their Untitled Whiskey Series is a four-year-old sour-mash whiskey sourced from Tennessee. It undergoes a four-month finishing period in a Sandeman Tawny Port cask before being bottled at 47% ABV.
