Based in Washington D.C., One Eight Distilling procures grain from three distinct locations for its vodka production: rye from Virginia, malted rye from North Carolina, and corn from Maryland. The distillery employs "Russian filtering technology" to enhance the spirit's smoothness. In the spring of 2018, the distillery's primary product line was rebranded and received an updated name, becoming District Made.

Mild alcohol and grain aroma. Grassy, very mild, with no burn and a pleasant pure vodka flavor with a touch of sweetness. Slightly sweet and very mild aftertaste with no burning sensation down the throat.
