I can't find this where I live, so I decided to try it while on vacation in Colorado. Smells like caramel, peanuts, polished wood, yeast, vanilla, and mild pepper. On the palate, it becomes spicy bread pudding with oak, orange, cola, and cinnamon - adding a bit of water calms the intensity and heat. It's potent and robust. Medium finish that's hot and woody with baking spices and orange peel. It's reminiscent of angostura bitters. It makes me think of some Larceny Barrel Proof, which I really enjoy. A positive initial encounter with this brand. This particular bottle was a private selection from barrel 16L09-34, bottled at 120.99 proof.

Initially, I detected nail polish remover, but that sensation quickly subsided. It coats the glass and leaves long legs. A bit of ice mellows it. It has a lot of flavor. The finish is long and peppery with notes of leather, vanilla, and some oak. I enjoyed this.
Received this as a gift. Initial tasting when new was not my favorite. However, after being open for a couple months, it’s really grown on me. Has a peppery spice on the initial taste and a lasting light oakiness.
