Nose - Smells of rich fruit caramel, cooked dark red berries, chocolate toffee, crystallized ginger, and candied orange. Taste - A slight warmth/tingle, rich dark red berries, crystallized ginger, oaky caramel, dry and bitter finish from leather, bitter dark chocolate, and coffee toffee. Finish - A lasting dryness, fruity oak, lingering sweet dark red berry flavor, similar to a cranberry-cherry juice blend with the same sweet-tart balance, a hint of dark chocolate covered coffee toffee. Overall - This had an amazing aroma, which somewhat raises expectations since the palate doesn't quite deliver all those intense notes. It smells like a dessert drink but tastes like a well-sherried everyday option. Not a negative, but I wished for more of that intense caramel/toffee sweetness on the palate that was present in the aroma. Overall, a very nice blend without any unpleasant notes and is actually nicely balanced. The bitterness effectively tempers the sweetness. I suppose I'm just being fussy about the aroma not translating exactly to the taste. Would I drink it if offered? - Yes Would I specifically order it? - Yes Would I buy a bottle? - Yes

Velvety smooth and sweet, with undertones of caramel and vanilla. My initial thought was "syrup whiskey". A fantastic blend.
