This limited edition Old Pepper straight rye, made from a 100% rye mash bill, was initially aged for at least 4 years in new, charred American oak. It then undergoes a secondary maturation in new toasted oak barrels. The whiskey is presented at barrel proof, with the exact proof varying by batch.

Aroma: Floral notes, reminiscent of freshly picked flowers. Palate: Natural Honey was the most prominent note, with undertones of earthy spices. Finish: Long and smooth, comparable to the Single Barrel Rye. Overall: The distinct difference from the standard single barrel select is impressive. I'd recommend picking this one up if you visit the Old Pepper Distillery!
A spicy, minty taste emerges on the tongue, followed by a robust conclusion that softens. Quite pleasant.
