It smells like ripe bananas but tastes like brandied raisins. Absolutely heavenly.

About this bottle
Situated in a 150-year-old cotton warehouse in the industrial district north of the French Quarter, the Old New Orleans distillery was an early participant in the resurgence of American craft distilling. Old New Orleans rum is produced without additives or coloring, being entirely natural and utilizing high-grade cane syrup through a slow-batch method. The sugarcane originates from a single grower, Greg Nolan of LaFouche Sugars in Thibodaux. The King Creole 20th Anniversary Blend is a limited offering, combining rums aged in charred American oak barrels acquired from bourbon, whiskey, and sherry producers. This blend comprises seven distinct vintages, some predating Hurricane Katrina, to mark two decades of distilling.
