Benjamin Barnard 4.0

The aroma is fragrant with notes of dried oak, dried flowers, cinnamon, molasses, dried fruit, and a hint of mint. The palate is dry, oaky, and peppery, with cinnamon, cooked caramel, cherry syrup, dried fruit, and a touch of vanilla. The finish is medium, with a lasting cinnamon that keeps the mouth tingling as the oak and cherry flavors blend and fade nicely.

'63/'71. The aroma is reminiscent of port wine. You can tell this will be a viscous drink. Molasses is present. A surprising oak presence on the tongue. Swallowing and exhaling reveals delightful oak, butter, and butterscotch notes. So much oak and sawdust. I love it. The finish is light, but rich with history.
