It's not terrible, but it's not great either. Packed with vanilla. It tastes very immature and unfinished. It has the appearance and feel of a promotional trick. With so many excellent spirits available, it's a waste of resources to pursue gimmick whiskey. Thankfully, it's no longer sold in NC. The name deserved a better spirit.

Spicy and Vanilla. I liked the smell of this one, but the taste just wasn't for me. Unfortunately, this will be a bourbon for mixing. I didn't enjoy it straight or on ice. I got it on sale for $24, so it didn't hurt my wallet.

An excellent spirit for sipping! The nose leads to traditional flavors of oak and spices. At 86 proof, it was quite enjoyable. My thanks to a friend! 11/30/18

A persistent spice, feels insubstantial overall, lacking depth. The mixed version is superior.

Andrew Custer 3.0

Notes of cedar and gingerbread. It's average. But the name and bottle are fantastic!
