Comparing 117 very old to very very old, both have deep raisin and fig notes, burnt brown sugar, but the VVO has a pleasant marshmallow note and is very soft.

About this bottle
To mark the seventh anniversary of the Whiskey Row fire in downtown Louisville, this bottling was released. Barrels filled on the day of the fire, excluding eight single barrels sold to support the Louisville Firefighter Disaster Fund, were combined for this limited edition. It has been aged for nearly seven years and is presented at 100 proof. Distribution is restricted to the Old Forester Distilling Co. retail shop on Whiskey Row, with availability starting July 7, 2022.
