About this bottle
Old Forester is launching its first rye whiskey under the President's Choice label with this 2025 release. President's Choice, originating in 1964 when George Garvin Brown II, then President of Brown Forman, provided the first private single barrels, represents the brand's most exclusive offering. The 2025 edition consists of single barrels aged between 7 and 9 years, with proofs ranging from 110 to 125. While typically limited to the distillery, this year's President's Choice will be available at select retailers nationwide in limited quantities starting June 2025. The distillery plans an in-person sale and online store release of a limited number of bottles at 10 am ET on June 14, 2025, in anticipation of Father's Day. The suggested retail price is $225.
