About this bottle
Birthday Bourbon, released yearly to honor Old Forester founder George Garvin Brown's September 2nd birthday, is a vintage-dated bourbon selected from barrels produced on a single day. The 2026 edition differs slightly as its barrel entry proof was 124.4, marginally lower than the brand's typical 125 entry proof. It was distilled in 2015 and aged for 11 years in Warehouse B. This bottling is at 97 proof, with 212 barrels chosen for this year's release. An online lottery for a chance to purchase a bottle will run on OldForester.com from August 18-24, 2026, with winners required to collect their bottles at the distillery in Louisville. Select retailers nationwide will also offer it starting September 2026. (SRP $199.99)
