For those who enjoy peated scotch, this one is for you. It's the first Octomore release, predating the consistent yearly schedule and their exploration of different cask treatments. The aroma clearly presents peat, but there's considerably more to it. The palate combines peat with the taste of barley and subtle fruits, and the texture is surprisingly both thick and light. Truly a distinctive spirit.
