About this bottle

The 2019 Fèis Ìle (Islay Fest) release from Bruichladdich's intensely peated Octomore line is called Event Horizon. This expression reached 162.6 ppm of peat. The single malt underwent a 12-year maturation, utilizing ex-oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximenez casks sourced from Bodega Fernando de Castilla in Jerez. This bottling holds the distinction of being the oldest Octomore released to date, with production limited to 2000 bottles.
