The second release in Bruichladdich's "super heavily-peated" Octomore single malt series is Octomore 02.1/140. This whisky is made from Scottish barley, peated to 140 ppm, and aged for 5 years in bourbon casks. It is bottled at cask strength, 62.5% ABV, and is un-chillfiltered, with 15,000 bottles produced.
