Like a youthful, spirited 14-year-old brought out too soon, the smoke is a strong, pleasing element in the flavor that one doesn't get used to, with a buttery, smooth biscuit quality. Banana, citrus, and apples are prominent on the nose, transitioning quickly to a smoky finish. Exemplary work from Oban.

Truly one of the finest single malts available for purchase. I wish I had grabbed more bottles during our recent trip to the distillery. Unbelievably mellow and intricate, with the ideal measure of depth and sugary notes to make a superb nightcap.
Pleasant smoky flavor with just the right bite. Hints of caramel and also a little fruity.
Sweet vanilla and caramel notes greet you. The taste brings light fruit and berry notes.
