About this bottle

Oak & Eden, a Texas-based whiskey brand, is recognized for its "in-bottle finishing" technique, which involves inserting a spire—a spiral-cut piece of wood—into a completed bottle of whiskey. The Wheat & Honey bottling belongs to the brand's Infused Series. In this series, the wood type for the spire varies, and the spire itself is infused. For this product, a wheated bourbon whiskey aged for at least three years is used. A medium-toasted American oak spire, infused with American honey, is then placed inside the bottle. The suggested retail price is $59.99.

Cheryl Santillan 3.8

Mild body and gentle flavor, with a touch of honey. This is quite similar to a pre-mixed beverage. Pour a few measures into a chilled mixing vessel, add a dash of bitters, strain into a cocktail glass, and it's ready. The bourbon is youthful but possesses enough character to satisfy a beginner whiskey enthusiast. The unique bottle itself is a conversation starter, as some people in the office inquired about its contents.

Garrett Bartlett 3.5

A light and accessible whiskey, nothing overwhelming. It has notes of cereal, rich caramel, significant oak, along with some honey and floral notes, all enveloped by a strong cinnamon finish. The finish is quite long and moderately sweet. If you prefer sweeter whiskeys, this would certainly be to your liking. It has perfect hints of sweetness without being excessively rich.
